Conversation with the director
In the conversation with the director, you are writing with an AI (Claude by Anthropic), not with a human. The director asks questions, makes suggestions and writes the script from them.
How the films are made
Characters, voices, music, images, moving scenes and lip movements in ClipStage films are generated with artificial intelligence. The characters are fictitious and do not depict real people. Your own avatar, where offered, is created only from your own live recording with your consent. Contributors you invite to a film only appear if they have recorded themselves live and given their consent — with their face, never with their voice.
Labelling
Every film and every test video is labelled in machine-readable form as AI-generated (Art. 50(2) AI Act): with an invisible watermark in the image (Video Seal) and in the sound (AudioSeal) and with a signed provenance record according to C2PA in the file. Anyone can check free of charge at clipstage.tv/en/pruefen whether a video comes from ClipStage; the provenance record is also shown by any C2PA verification tool. Test videos additionally carry the visible labels “TESTVIDEO” and “KI-erzeugt” (AI-generated). A visible symbol in the finished film is included if you switch it on; films with contributors carry it from the outset. The example and blog films on our website are also generated with AI; we point this out next to each of them.
Your obligation when publishing
If you publish a film in a professional or business context and people, places or events in it appear real, you must label it visibly as AI-generated (Art. 50(4) AI Act) — as a rule, this is the case for films with your own avatar or with contributors. Purely private use is exempt. On Instagram, TikTok and YouTube, the AI toggle when uploading is sufficient. For a website, shop window or trade fair, you can have the EU symbol “AI generated” displayed in the top right corner of the finished film — free of charge. For evidently artistic or fictional films, a notice that does not interfere with the film is sufficient, for example in the accompanying text.
Check before publishing
AI can make mistakes. Check texts, names, figures, logos and pronunciation in the script and in the test video before you order the finished film, and in the finished film before you publish it.

The articles in the blog at clipstage.tv/blog are written automatically every week by an AI (Claude by Anthropic). Each article has an example film, which is also generated with AI. The articles are for information purposes only and do not replace legal, tax or other advice.
Limits
No children in moving scenes, no recreation of real people or celebrities (except your own avatar and contributors with their own consent), no third-party brands without permission.
